Breaking: Michael Jackson Autopsy Results Release ‘Indefinitely Delayed’

A representative for the Los Angeles County Coroner tells ET that the release of the results of Michael Jackson’s autopsy will be delayed indefinitely.

The rep says that more investigating needs to be done before the results will be released. The decision to indefinitely delay release of the results was made after a roundtable discussion was held Thursday between the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner, the Los Angeles Police Department and the District Attorneys office. The meeting discussed the status of the investigation into Jackson’s death, and the rep for the coroner’s office tells ET that the District Attorney’s office will likely play a large role going forward in the investigation.

When asked if other doctors besides Dr. Conrad Murray could be investigated, the coroner’s rep said that the investigation is ongoing.

Michael Jackson Biographer: Singer’s Sister will Help Raise Kids

J. Randy Taraborrelli, author of Michael Jackson: The Magic, The Madness, The Whole Story, tells ET that he thinks Katherine Jackson will rely on one of her daughters to help raise the King of Pop’s three kids.

Taraborrelli says he believes Michael’s sister, Rebbie Jackson, will lend a hand. "Rebbie would sort of be the primary caregiver to Michael’s children even though Katherine would have custody of the children," he tells ET.

Michael’s mother and his ex-wife Debbie Rowe negotiated an out-of-court agreement for custody of the late singer’s children on Thursday.

Report: Michael Jackson May Have Died Earlier Than We Have Been Told

ET earlier reported that the Los Angeles Coroners Office is working to reveal Michael Jackson’s toxicology results sometime next week, possibly on Wednesday. Now ET special correspondent Diane Dimond has the latest!

"Two different police sources tell me that the toxicology report is complete enough that they now know what killed Michael Jackson," Dimond says. "That knowledge is guiding the investigators as they try put a case together."

Dimond goes on to say that, according to her sources, Dr. Conrad Murray is the primary target of the investigation and criminal charges are likely to be filed.

ET has obtained the booking photo of Michael Jackson’s personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, when he was arrested in February 1994.

Dr. Murray was arrested on domestic violence charges on February 3, 1994 after an incident with his then-girlfriend. The doctor was tried and acquitted.

On Tuesday, Dr. Murray — the subject of an investigation –was present during the search of his home and assisted the officers, his attorney told ET.

Lawyers for Katherine Jackson and Debbie Rowe are speaking out about the custody agreement they have settled on regarding the late Michael Jackson’s children.

The joint statement says the agreement will be presented Monday, August 3, 2009, to the Los Angeles Superior Court for approval, which is expected.

The statement reads:

Michael Jackson Toxicology Update

Sources tell ET when they expect the toxicology results will be in for Michael Jackson.

According to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Coroners office, they are working to reveal the results next week but no day has been decided upon yet.

However, another source affiliated with the medical examination tells ET that the coroners office expects to announce their findings on Wednesday.
