Kristin Stinar (KSTP Investigative Reporter) has been investigating a story about a ring who was posting fake casting call ads with an online modeling and talent agency, New Line Cinema. And she so far has covered two relating stories. Apparently one of the actors was from the Midwest, she had posted her resume and photo on the site, and thought the casting company seemed legitimate.

You must have more than a story to tell or a message to deliver; you must know how to tell it

Monday, February 22nd, 2010

You must have more than a story to tell or a message to deliver; you must know how to tell it. Your marketing should create a recognizable corporate image that establishes a unique identity in the mind of your audience. If your audience sees no difference between you and the competition then you become interchangeable.

Use visual and auditory cues as behavioral reminders

Monday, February 22nd, 2010

Use visual and auditory cues as behavioral reminders. For example, have two large jars at the front of the room, with one filled with marbles or some other object. When the class is behaving appropriately, move some marbles to the other jar and let the students know that when the empty jar is filled they can earn a reward.

Some even claim that video games are the best entertainment on the Earth. Let me be more specific, guys just love to waste their time playing video games. I admit, there may be women who play video games but I know none of them!

Saturday, February 20th, 2010

Rounding out the final one-man routine is Jeff Foxworthy, perhaps the most famous of the crowd due to his widely promoted ‘you might be a redneck if’ jokes. Foxworthy starts off with a standard routine that”s really funny (this part of his career has been widely overlooked), but then he naturally moves into the part of the routine that people love to hear - the redneck jokes. My favorite of the whole Blue Collar Comedy Tour DVD is his line ‘If a beaver bites off your nipple, you might be a redneck’. Based on a true story, you simply have to watch Blue Collar Comedy Tour in order to understand just how hilarious that one is.

Finally, your best bet is to buy online

Friday, February 19th, 2010

Finally, your best bet is to buy online. In this age of immediate satisfaction, your desire is to waltz into the cellular carriers retail store, and walk out of there talking on your shiny new cell phone. Dont do it. Go into the retail store to get a hands-on view of the phones you are considering, but with the spotlights, the shiny chrome cases, and a sales rep smiling like hes auditioning for Jaws, avoid the temptation. You can always find at least an EQUIVALENT deal online, and very frequently the online resource will also throw in some extras like a carrying case, a car power adapter, a travel adapter, and a hands-free kit, which would cost nearly another $100 if you get it at the carriers retail outlet.
