He continues on to say, "No one is in a position of accusing the doctor of anything. Because we don’t have answers to the questions that deserve to have answers. There may be plausible answers, but we don’t know."
The lawyer to Michael Jackson’s doctor has reportedly said the physician found the pop star in bed with a pulse.
Attorney Edward Chernoff told the Associated Press that Dr. Conrad Murray entered Jackson’s bedroom and found the singer to still be warm and to have a faint pulse.

Dame Elizabeth Taylor is expressing her grief over the death of her dear friend Michael Jackson in a heartbreaking new statement.
"My heart … my mind … are broken. I loved Michael with all my soul and I can’t imagine life without him. We had so much in common and we had such loving fun together. I was packing up my clothes to go to London for his opening when I heard the news. I still can’t believe it. I don’t want to believe it. It can’t be so. He will live in my heart forever but it’s not enough. My life feels so empty. I don’t think anyone knew how much we loved each other. The purest most giving love I’ve ever known. Oh God! I’m going to miss him. I can’t yet imagine life without him. But I guess with God’s help … I’ll learn. I keep looking at the photo he gave me of himself, which says, ‘To my true love Elizabeth, I love you forever.’ And, I will love HIM forever," Dame Elizabeth tells ET.

KHOU of Houston, Texas reports that Dr. Conrad Robert Murray of Houston was living with Jackson in his Holmby Hills, Calif., rented home at the time of his death, and was in fact with him when he went into cardiac arrest.

ET has learned that Rowe is "inconsolable" about the death of the King of Pop.
After the shocking death of Michael Jackson, attorney Herb Nass — who does not represent the Jackson family — tells ET what’s next for the superstar’s estate.
"Michael Jackson’s estate will be responsible for his debts," Herb says. "They are not going to be born by his children individually, but the debts that he had are debts of his estate, which of course will reduce his estate as a result, and thereby reduce what his three children will ultimately inherit from him." He adds that they will not be personally liable for the debts of their father.
"Michael Jackson had serious financial problems, there’s no secret about that," he says. "In the past couple of years he was fortunate to have some people come forward who really bailed him out." While he still has debts, "He owned a very impressive catalog of music, including many of The Beatles greatest hits," Herb points out, saying that this may be Paul McCartney’s chance to buy back some of those copyrights.

That in a nutshell is what I tell those who ask me for advice on writing music
Saturday, June 27th, 2009That in a nutshell is what I tell those who ask me for advice on writing music. When I reflect on what else I could have told them I keep coming back to the same conclusion, that if I had gotten down to the nuts and bolts of lyricism and musical structure, it really would not have helped much. All of the knowledge in the world will not help you if you do not have that spark. Theres a certain intuitiveness to songwriting that no one can teach. Its the same reason that I dont write music very well. I know chords, scales, structure and theory, but putting it all together escapes me. So I putter along and if I come up with an interesting progression, I go to my friend Steve and he takes it and runs with it. When hes done, he gives the finished product back to me and I add the lyrics. Its a system that works well, and although well never be famous, we have fun, because each of us knows our unique gift, and weve learned how to use them together.

Thursday, June 25th, 2009What is the allure, the attraction to the clumsy, hard to handle records? As recent research suggests, some people are drawn in by the physical nature of the record, the actual handling of the music, the interaction between the person, the record and the phonograph. There is almost a ritual to the handling and playing of a phonograph record.

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is speaking out after Perez Hilton admittedly used an anti-gay slur in a confrontation with will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas.
Perez, who is openly gay, admitted in a video blog that he used an anti-gay slur against will.i.am during a confrontation in Toronto on Sunday night, which was corroborated by will.i.am in his own video blog. Perez said in his blog that during his conversation with will.i.am: "I made the split-second decision — that I was gonna say what I thought was the worst possible thing that thug [will.i.am] would ever want to hear," and then called the Black Eyed Peas singer the anti-gay slur.
"These are vulgar anti-gay slurs that feed a climate of hatred and intolerance toward our community," Rashad Robinson, Senior Director of Media Programs at GLAAD, tells ET. "For someone in our own community to use it to attack another person by saying that it is, quote, ‘The worst possible thing that thug would ever want to hear,’ is incredibly dangerous. It legitimizes use of a slur that is often linked to violence against our community. And it sends a message that it is OK to attempt to dehumanize people by exploiting anti-gay attitudes."
ET is bringing you inside the courtroom where Chris Brown pleaded guilty to assault earlier today, and Rihanna also appeared.
If Brown had not reached a plea deal, Rihanna had been expected to testify against Brown, after she was subpoenaed by the District Attorney’s office. Brown pleaded guilty to one count of assault related to a domestic violence incident involving Rihanna in February. Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos told the AP that Brown was sentenced to five years of supervised probation and six months of community service.
The judge ordered that Rihanna and Brown may not come within 50 yards of each other, unless they are at an event, in which case they can come within 10 yards of each other. They are not allowed to have any written or telephone contact, or contact through a third party, and the order will remain in full effect for five years.
Gossip blogger Perez Hilton is accusing Black Eyed Peas manager Liborio "Polo" Molina of punching him in the face in Toronto following a verbal altercation between Hilton and singer will.i.am, while will.i.am says that a fan punched Hilton. Meanwhile, Toronto police have reportedly charged Black Eyes Peas manager Molina with assault following the incident.
According to a report from the Associated Press, Peas manager Liborio Molina has been charged with assault and is due to appear in court on August 5.
The drama began to unfold online when Perez posted on his Twitter account early Monday morning, "I’m in shock. I need the police ASAP. Please come to the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel now. Please." He posted shortly thereafter, "I was assaulted by will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke."
