Beyonce Reveals Inaugural Dance Inspiration
Beyonce will have the distinct honor of performing for President Barack Obama and his first lady Michelle Obama while they have their first dance at tonight’s Inaugural Ball. The R&B artist will sing Etta James‘ classic tune "At Last," and she talked about her inspiration in this AOL Music Sessions video interview.
"I am so honored that I will be performing for President Obama and the first lady," said the Grammy-award winner a few days ago. "To sing ‘At Last’ while they have their first dance is a dream come true. I could not be more honored and excited that they have asked me to be part of this moment in history."

ET’s Cheryl Woodcock is in Washington D.C. and gets the 411 from J.Lo and Marc Anthony on their plans for the inauguration of Barack Obama.
J.Lo said she and Marc would be at today’s inauguration and she predicted that Michelle Obama’s dress for the historic event would "be very elegant and very classy and very appropriate for the occasion."
The couple spoke to ET at the Artists and Athletes Alliance’s inaugural party, also attended by David Arquette, Fran Drescher, Isaiah Washington.
Celebrities Count Down to Inauguration Day
ET was at a pre-inauguration party where celebrities came together for a New Year’s Eve-style "Countdown to a New Day."
ET spoke to Teri Hatcher, Gerard Butler, Val Kilmer, and The Huffington Post co-founder and Editor-in-Chief Arianna Hufington.
The bash, sponsored by the The Huffington Post news blog, was one of dozens of parties and balls being held in conjunction with tomorrow’s inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama.
Jennifer Hudson Among New Choices to Perform at Grammys
Jennifer Hudson is one of two former "American Idol" standouts to be added to the list of performers at next month’s Grammy Awards.
Jennifer will also be up for three Grammys — Best Female R&B Vocal Performance ("Spotlight"), Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals ("I’m His Only Woman," featuring Fantasia) and Best R&B Album (Jennifer Hudson).
The other performer announced on Monday is country singer Carrie Underwood, who is nominated for Best Female Country Vocal Performance ("Last Name").
Top Stars Entertain Barack Obama at Inaugural Concert
Inauguration activities for President-elect Barack Obama kicked off in Washington, D.C., with a star-studded concert launched by Bruce Springsteen and other major stars just steps from the Lincoln Memorial.
The crowd, estimated to reach half-a-million people, erupted in cheers when Obama and his wife, Michelle, arrived and walked down the steps of the memorial to greet the excited onlookers. Obama and his wife joined Vice President-elect Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, behind bullet-proof glass near the stage.
Countless celebrities attended the concert including the first star to speak at the event, Denzel Washington, who told the crowd, "we are all in this together." Tom Hanks also appeared and read a somber tribute to Abraham Lincoln.

The singing legend, who spoke to Kevin in Washington D.C. where he’s performing during inauguration activities, says he is seriously thinking about going on the hit ABC show and will be trying to get into shape so he can show his best dance steps if he debuts on the show.
Stevie, 58, also tells ET he is excited and proud to be a part of President-elect Barack Obama’s inauguration and says he has something special planned for his performance during a star-studded concert on Washington’s National Mall.
Olivia Newton-John Sells Home
Singer/actress Olivia Newton-John has sold her home in the celebrity-packed community of Malibu, CA.
After being on the market for nearly a year, a buyer was found who payed more than $10 million for the Mediterranean-style home, which has four bedrooms, a pool , spa and guesthouse, the Los Angeles Times reports.
The gated neighborhood where the home is located is no stranger to celebrity owners. Newton-John, who last year married businessman John Easterling, bought the property in 2004 for $6 million from the widow of actor Charles Bronson, and pop star Britney Spears used to live next door, the Times said.

Jonas Bros And More On Inaugural Concert
ET is with mega-watt stars the Jonas Brothers, along with their friend Demi Lovato, who just can’t hide their excitement about playing Disney Channel’s "Kids’ Inaugural: We Are the Future" concert over the weekend.
"For us to be a part of history, it’s amazing. We are going to be able to tell our families and our future kids, and kids’ kids that we were there," says Kevin Jonas. "We are just really, really excited and we are honored that we were asked to play."
Demi and the Jo Bros. won’t be the only ones crooning for the kids. Musical performances by Miley Cyrus, Bow Wow and other big names are also scheduled for Disney’s big bash.
